This is my favorite baked salmon recipe. So much flavor and super quick for an easy weeknight meal. I highly recommend fresh salmon if you can find it. Lucky’s Market and Hy-Vee typically have a great selection.
Maple Glazed Salmon

2 lbs Salmon Filets, wild Alaskan recommended
1 Tbsp Brown Sugar
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1 tsp Smoked Paprika
1/2 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp Cumin
Maple Syrup, for drizzling
Butter, for topping
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Line a baking sheet with foil and spray with non-stick cooking spray.
- Place salmon on baking sheet. Remove skin if desired.
- Combine spice ingredients in a small bowl.
- Rub spice mixture over salmon filets.
- Drizzle with maple syrup.
- Use the back of a spoon to spread the maple syrup over the filets.
- Bake 10-15 minutes or until filet flakes with a fork.
- Serve with a dallop of butter!
