Overnight Waffles
Course: BreakfastDifficulty: EasyThese waffles are perfect for a lazy Saturday morning.
Ingredients
2 1/4 C All-purpose flour
2 Tbsp Sugar
1 pkg or 2 1/4 tsp Active Dry Yeast
1 tsp Vanilla
1/2 tsp salt
1 3/4 C Milk
2 eggs
1/3 C vegetable oil or melted butter
Directions
- In a large mixing bowl, stir together flour, sugar, yeast, vanilla and salt. Add in remaining ingredients. Mix by hand or with an electric mixer until combined. Cover and chill overnight or up to 24 hours.
- The next morning, stir batter and cook according to your waffle iron directions. Freeze extras and reheat in toaster.
